STDL is seeking a dependable and responsible Computer Desk Assistant to serve our library and community by providing computer support and assistance to patrons. This position involves daily interaction with library users that have a variety of computer needs.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate effective customer service skills to assist patrons using the public access computers. Proficient knowledge of Word, Internet, Email, connecting to Wi-Fi, printing, and scanning is required. Excel Formula knowledge is preferred. CA staff is responsible for registering students for classes in-person and over the phone, using a cash register, sending faxes, and setting up computer equipment in public meeting rooms. Availability to fill in for other shifts is preferred.
Fridays: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sundays during the school year: 4:15 - 9 p.m. (2nd, 3rd, 4th)
