Hold Lockers and Return Bin at the Schaumburg Metra Station

We know life is busy, and we want to offer more convenient ways for you to access Library resources, no matter where you travel.

That’s why we are proud to partner with the Village of Schaumburg and offer another location for picking up your holds and dropping off your returns.

How To Use the Lockers

When placing a Hold, all you need to do is select ‘Schaumburg Metra Station’ as the Hold location.

• When the item is ready, you will receive a notification to pick it up.
• Once notified, you have three days to pick up your item.
• Simply scan or enter your Library card number at the locker to collect your item.

Return Bin

During weekdays, staff will retrieve items returned at the Metra Station, and items will be checked in within 72 hours. Returning items at this location is simple! Just pull out the drawer and place your book in the slot.

Waiting Room Hours: 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
