“I first learned about Brainfuse when poking around the Library’s website a few years ago,” says Schaumburg teen Matthew Williams.
Brainfuse is an online learning tool available for free through our Library. One-on-one tutoring is available from 2-9 p.m. every day, with live homework help for math, science, English and social studies. Brainfuse also offers adult learning options and test prep for ACT, SAT, AP, GED, TOEFL and U.S. Citizenship.
“The live tutoring is so important,” Matthew added. “For me, it’s better than a written, step-by-step instruction manual.”
Matthew is currently a senior at Schaumburg High School and plans to major in accounting when he attends college next fall.
“The Library is one of the biggest academic resources available to students,” Matthew said. “In addition to Brainfuse, it gives us access to thousands of materials in many different mediums. The research databases are great for any student conducting research – they cover a wider expanse of records than what our school provides or what can be found in online searches.”
Well said, Matthew!
You can find Brainfuse, other online learning options and research databases in the E-Library section of our website.
