Whether its a few words or a whole sonnet, you can contribute to our PoeTREE.
Throughout April for National Poetry Month, you're invited to write down poems on paper leaves and hang them on the tree. It can be from your favorite poet — Dickinson, Whitman, Keats, whoever it may be — or your own original work.
“It’s important for us as a library to encourage support for poets and poetry," librarian Stephanie Driscoll said. "We hope this interactive display will be a fun way for our patrons to participate.”
Do you have something of your own you've been working on? We also have our Poetry Contest running through April 30, with separate prizes and categories for kids, teens and adults.
