Filing taxes can be a complicated process, so we've compiled some resources to help.

We have basic tax forms available at the Library, like the federal and state 1040. Did you know that the IRS redesigned the 1040, eliminating the 1040-A and 1040-EZ? There's now just one 1040 form

Want to know when you'll get your money back? You can track your federal and state refunds once you've filed.

Although the Library does not office in-house tax assistance, there are local places that do. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free help to those who qualify, and so does the The AARP Foundation.

Find the closest VITA/TCE location using their locator tool, or search for AARP help locations.

But before you go, make sure you know what to bring
