Can't make it to the Library? The Library will come to you!
We offer a home delivery service to anyone with mobility concerns or vision or hearing impairments. If you have a temporary condition preventing you from making it into one of our three locations, we're happy to make our way over to your place.
We can deliver anything that's available in the Library, including books, movies, music or games. We can visit you up to once every two weeks.
Contact Sandra Kurth at email@example.com or (847) 923-3392 to make a request.
Talking Book and Braille Service
The Illinois State Library TBBS provides a free digital audio player and a variety of spoken materials to anyone unable to read standard print material due to a visual or physical disability. Braille materials and Descriptive Video Service films with audio narration are also available.
All materials are sent postage-free through the U.S. Postal Service. Contact Kate Niehoff at firstname.lastname@example.org or (847) 923-3393 to determine your eligibility and get help signing up.
Have a new smartphone or tablet and don't know how to use it? We offer in-home tutorials for patrons unable to attend our regular classes.
The Library delivers hundreds of free paperbacks to the Schaumburg Metra station every month. Take one, leave one!
