Technical Services Associate


One permanent, 20-hours per week position available.

Preference will be given to candidates with an LTA and experience cataloging books, audiovisual materials or foreign language and is detail-oriented with a customer service orientation. Knowledge of RDA cataloging guidelines, MARC records and AACR2 is preferred. See Job Description.

Technical Services Associate


Two temporary positions are available. The duration of the position may be from 6 - 8 weeks.

Shelver - Day


Two daytime positions available.

The shelver is responsible for unloading carts, shelving materials, and keeping the collections in order, throughout the Library. In addition, the shelver must have working knowledge of the SIRSI computer system and be able to provide back-up coverage at the Circulation Desk for all breaks and meal periods. This position entails a great deal of physical exertion. This position also requires good organizational and communication skills and the flexibility and training to move from task to task in a team environment.

Shelver - Evening


Two evening positions available.

Security Monitor

The Security Monitor is regularly required to stand and patrol the interior and exterior of the Library. Ability to regularly life and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds, is also required. The ideal candidate must be team-oriented, safety-focused and public service-oriented. Flexibility with scheduling and ability to fill-in for other shifts is preferred.

Library Cleaner

The Library Cleaner is responsible for performing routine cleaning of public areas, work rooms and offices in the central Library location. The Library Cleaner is also responsible for basic maintenance of tile, carpeted floors, wall paper or paneling, etc. in the buildings.
