The Shelver is responsible for unloading carts, shelving materials, and keeping the collections in order throughout the Library. In addition, the Shelver must have working knowledge of the SIRSI computer system and be able to provide back-up coverage at the Circulation Desk. This position entails a great deal of physical exertion.

The successful candidate will be passionate about turning data into information, information into insight and insight into Library decisions. The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in collection analysis and preparing graphical presentations. Requirements for this job include an MLS from an ALA-accredited school, excellent customer service and communications skills, and proficient knowledge of MARC metadata and controlled vocabularies.
The Computer Cleaner is responsible for performing a thorough cleaning of public and employee computers, monitors and peripheral areas at all Library locations.
The Building Operations Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the operations of the engineering, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems and architectural needs of all Library properties.
The Library Cleaner is responsible for performing routine cleaning of public areas, work rooms and offices in the central Library location. The Library Cleaner is also responsible for basic maintenance of tile, carpeted floors, wall paper or paneling, etc. in the buildings.
