Data Librarian

We are looking for someone who is passionate about turning data into information, information into insight and insight into Library decisions.  The Data Librarian is responsible for general statistical analysis of the Library’s collections and services; reporting on and making recommendations regarding the usage of the Library’s collections and services; the interpretation and graphical presentation of the data; and working with subject specialists to increase the skills and knowledge of data resources and methods.

Digital Programming Librarian

The Digital Programming Librarian is responsible for developing technology classes, identifying trends related to technology, making recommendations for implementing new library services, programs and collections. The Digital Programming Librarian is also responsible for the Production Studio, including programming, instruction and content development and maintaining the Library’s realia collections.

Computer Desk Assistant

STDL is seeking a dependable and responsible Computer Desk Assistant to serve our library and community by providing computer support and assistance to patrons.  This position involves daily interaction with library users that have a variety of computer needs.  

Program Assistant

The Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the Adult Program Coordinator in the organization and implementation of adult programs for the Library.  The Program Assistant is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Programs and Outreach Department, and attending and facilitating programs, on- or off-site, making sure the program runs safely and smoothly. 

Reserves Assistant

The Reserves Desk Assistant is responsible for retrieving and processing reserved Library materials, locating missing materials and answering patron inquires and giving information to the Registration Desk in order to update patrons' records.  The Reserves Desk Assistant accomplishes this by looking in the Library's collections and addressing patrons over the telephone, in-person, or by email.

Library Cleaner

The Library Cleaner is responsible for performing routine cleaning of public areas, work rooms and offices in the central Library location. The Library Cleaner is also responsible for basic maintenance of tile, carpeted floors, wall paper or paneling, etc. in the buildings.
