Level Up Your Advocacy
You may have noticed that libraries nationwide are experiencing unprecedented challenges in recent months. In our country, many libraries face a rise in bans on library materials and programs and cuts to funding. We ask that you support local libraries and stand up for our institutions as learning centers, community hubs, and vital spaces that support professional and personal enrichment.
Visit our Level Up Your Advocacy display on the Library’s second floor from July 7 through July 31 and share why you think libraries are important.
Discover empowering, approachable ways to get involved. Whether it's reaching out to Congress in support of public libraries, joining a peaceful protest, signing a petition, or engaging in craftivism, there’s a path for everyone.
