D-Day Warriors: It Was Our War Too
Wednesday, November 5 • 2-3:30 p.m. • Trickster Cultural CenterJoin us for a powerful 60-minute documentary honoring Charles Shay, a Penobscot Indian and one of the last surviving Native American D-Day veterans. At just 19, Shay landed on Omaha Beach as a medic in the first wave. Through ceremony, prayer, and storytelling, he continues to honor fallen soldiers and promote healing.
A discussion will follow the screening, led by Jennifer Vazquez, Programs Coordinator at the Trickster Cultural Center.
