Trustee/Committee Chair Seyring called the meeting to order at 6:02 P.M.

Mr. Hardt wished a Happy New Year to the Committee

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS

Committee members met with Loren Friedman of Friedman Fine Art to discuss the donor wall and the process around designing this original work. Mr. Friedman has almost 50 years of experience. Trustee Forte motioned and Committee Member Jonen seconded to approve a $7,500 deposit to Mr. Friedman upon receipt of an invoice from Friedman Fine Art. The Committee will engage in further discussions and work to create and install the donor wall by the end of the FY as a goal to reach. Discussion on potential Martyl donation continued and Director Miskewitch will reach out to Mr. Fitzpatrick of the Schweiker House for contact information and will report back. Committee also discussed various pieces of art on the walls and notes the renovation has inspired a review and full inventory of what was in various areas throughout the Library. More conversations will be had around placement of art in new spaces.
