Then, cap off the creativity at the Schaumburg Library Art Expo, featuring an artist alley of local makers, live demonstrations, and plenty of chances to roll up your sleeves and try something new. Let’s get artful!
Artist Alley
Calling all artists, makers, and creative minds! Schaumburg Library invites local creators to apply for a spot in our Artist Alley—a curated showcase of community artists and crafters held as part of the Library’s Art Expo on April 25th from 1-3 p.m. Artist Alley is a chance to display and sell your work, connect with library visitors, and be part of a creative, welcoming space that celebrates local talent. Space is limited, and artists are selected to create a balanced and engaging mix of artistic styles and mediums.
Click here to apply for a spot. Applications close on April 1 and selected artists will be notified via email by Friday, April 10.
All Ages Library Bookmark Contest

Unleash your artistic talent in the Schaumburg Library Bookmark Contest. Celebrate reading and creativity by designing an original bookmark that reflects your love of books, libraries, or community. Winners will have their designs printed as real bookmarks and shared with patrons throughout the Library.
Visit any Library location to pick up the entry form – submissions are due no later than March 31. Return your finished bookmark to any of our Library locations.
