Note: Due to our Central Library second floor renovation, our meeting room availability is limited. Most of the newly created Study Rooms are now available at our Central Library, and our Hanover Park and Hoffman Estates branches remain fully open to reserve meeting and study rooms. Read more about the renovation.

  • Our large meeting rooms (the Adult Classroom and Rasmussen Room) are unavailable for public use.
  • The newly constructed Local History Room is currently a temporary space for teens, with limited tables and chairs for teens to study, work and hang out.

Study Rooms

We offer small study rooms for up to 8 people during open Library hours. Any person or group may use a Study Room for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Reservations for Study Rooms may be made 2 weeks in advance. A reservation will be cancelled if a group does not show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. Read our Study Room Policy for more information.

Request a study room online or call (847) 923-3347. You can also check the status of your room reservation.

Meeting Rooms

We offer the use of larger meeting rooms for community nonprofit organizations. To reserve a meeting room, you must be an adult 18 years or older with a current Schaumburg Library card.

You may request a room up to 90 days in advance; we require at least 3 business days to review and approve your request. Read our Meeting Room Policy for more information.
