Are you a teacher in School District 54? Sign up for a Treasure Bag of supplemental reading material for students in preschool through 8th grade.
We'll send you a bag of 20 books personally selected by our librarians based on grade and reading level. Treasure bags are delivered to your school office once a month from September to April. You can sign up at any time during the school year!

We will need your class grade level and reading level. We do not need exact Fountas & Pinnell levels; the grade level at which the majority of students is reading is fine (for example: grade 2, reading at grades 1-3). Sign up by the end of August to start receiving books in September.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get books with specific titles or themes?
Yes, but these are considered "special request" books and handled on a case-by-case basis. Please send an email to @email at least two weeks in advance.
Can I get books in Spanish?
Sure! You may request books in English or Spanish.
When are Treasure Bags delivered?
We send Treasure Bags to your school once a month on Wednesdays from September to April. We do not send Treasure Bags in December due to the holiday break.
When/how do I return a Treasure Bag?
Treasure Bags are checked out for three weeks. You will get a due date slip in your bag and a reminder email when your Treasure Bag is due. When it's time to return it, place the books back in the bag and leave it at your school office for pick up by the District 54 van.
